Christa graduated at the old Pretoria Technikon in Theater Crafts, & became a make-up artist almost by accident. Now 16 fabulous years later she is still a make-up, hair & SFX artist in the movie industry.
She has worked on stills shoots, doing make-up for billboards & magazine ads with honeys such as Tanit Phoenix, Christina Storm & countless other beauties. She’s worked in television & has done more commercials than she can count.
Christa's first love will always be movies. “Working on movies has taken me to incredible places & introduced me to some of the most beautiful, famous & interesting people, such as Nicholas Cage, Eamonn Walker, Catherine Bell, Sir Ian Holmes...”
In her privileged career she’s worked on movies such as 10 000BC, Triangle & Lord of War as well as smaller local movies such as Richardt van den Berg’s (director of Faith like Potatoes) latest movie Tornado & the Kalahari Horse Whisperer. What an honour that was.
After years of a very fulfilling, exciting & successful film career, it was time to expand and grow again. Hence, U B .beautiful.
Fancy dress is her first love, especially taking the not so ordinary person & for one evening turning him or her into their fantasy!
Christa specializes in her body painting, temporary tattoo’s & OTT Glamour.
Her views on make-up are:
”Trust me girls … We ALL look better with a little bit of make-up, even the gorgeous super models. But it’s essential to do it right. It’s what makes the difference between wearing mascara & looking like a star.”
"So come on… U B our Star, U B .beautiful."

She worked for 9 years before taking time to travel the world as she’d jumped straight in to the Film Industry, there was & still is a big world to explore. Raine love’s being a Make-up Artist, learning everyday, being creative & getting paid is a great place to be…

Raine’s views are: “Why should only The Stars be privy to having a Make-up Artist, everyone is A Star & everyone is .beautiful.”
Raine likes her coffee black with lots of honey.
At the end of day “Lets love what we do & do what we Love”
