YOUR STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO A GLAMOROUS U

Shape those Brows:
Never underestimate the importance of well shaped brows! 
Eyebrows help define & shape your face, not just your eyes.
    1.  Start by placing your make-up brush along side your nose in 
            the upright position, so that the brush aligns with the inner corner of
            your eye. Where the brush intersects with your eyebrow is the ideal
            position for your eyebrow to begin.            
       2.  Then move the top of the brush to the outer corner of your eye,
            keeping the base of the brush next to the nose. Where the brush
            Intersects with the eyebrow is the ideal place for your eyebrow to end.
       3.  Then apply the 2/3 rule: measure 2/3 from the ‘new’ start of your
            eyebrow, this is the ideal position to create your arch.
       4.  The beginning of your brow should be the thickest part
            (at least double the width of the end) tapering gradually
            towards the outer brow. 
Star Tip: When your eyebrows are too close together it creates a
‘pinched’ look. When your eyebrow ends beyond the ideal position,
it pulls the eye area down, making U look older.

Tweeze with Ease:

We advise that U invest in a good pair of tweezers, U B .beautiful. recommends
Tweezerman available at Dis-Chem.
This makes the difference between short, broken hairs & a clean brow line.
       1.  Use warm water on cotton wool & hold it over the eyebrow for 30
            seconds. This will give the pores a chance to open, making it easier &
            less painful to pluck the hair.
       2.  Stretch the skin between your fingers, as a taught surface hurts less!
       3.  Begin on the inside working outwards, so that U can graduate
            your line carefully.
       4.  Always place the tweezers on the skin where the hair follicle & 
            skin meet. Pull the hair in the direction that it grows, not   
            against, as it will irritate the skin & possibly cause bleeding.
       5.  Pluck 1 hair at a time to avoid unsightly gaps.
Star Tip: If your skin tends to be sensitive after tweezing, use Witch Hazel 
on cotton wool, this will calm the skin down & close the pores again.
