Bolting out of the Start Gate…
In our first year we bolted out of the start gate.  We won ‘The Most Innovative Company of 2009, we raised R8000.00 for the charity ‘The Life Community Welfare Centre’ & we were invited to demonstrate our talents at both The Professional Hair & Beauty Show & The 2009 Woman’s Show.
We’ve also recruited some of the best Make-up Artists & Hair stylists that CT, PE & Durban has to offer.

I want to praise you to the skies for the fabulous Eddie make-up you did for Ashley's 21st birthday party at the Bell.  It was extremely enjoyable to drink cheap wine while having my beard shaved off for the first time in 15 years, and having gallons of fake blood poured over my head.  An entertainment in its own right, and VERY good value for money ...

The Rocky Horror party at Brass Bell was hugely entertaining:

• the locals at the upstairs bar accepted me as one of their own
• the party animals giggled
• the birthday girl in the red latex-ware agreed to pose for a photo with me
• the car guard decided he didn't need a tip after all

Obviously I had to add the picture to my profile on the internet dating site as well, with some equally interesting results.  A few of the people on the site (both male and female) immediately realized that I was a creature spawned by the forces of darkness and explained (at length) that I was going to burn for all eternity for my evil ways (not a complete surprise to me, I am forced to admit).  More interesting to me was the number of women on the site who immediately added me to their favorites and contacted me.  I'm not quite sure what it was about the sight of a well-rounded (to use the polite word) middle-aged librarian with a fake leather jacket and a bloody face that turned them on: I didn't ask and I’m certainly not complaining.  I have had so much fun from your work that carried on far after the make-up had finally been washed out of my pillowcases (and given how well it had been rubbed in, that took a while).
